Looking For: MIDI Pattern Generator
I need to create a whole bunch of random 1-3-5-Octave arpeggios. I could make them myself BUT what would be nice would be a pattern generator that I can get to output to MIDI.
That way if I like 95% of the pattern, I can change the small parts I don't like. It will also enable me to line these patterns up on an Instrument track as I audition sounds. As you can see in the attached screenshots, I have Omnisphere, Xpand!2 and FM8 - all of which have arpeggiators with a "Random" setting, but no way to generate that pattern into MIDI information. FM8, for example, will play the same 32-step "randomized" sequence over and over, and I could save that as a preset, but then I'm limited to just the sounds in FM8 AND 32 steps. It would be nice to be able to output that pattern to MIDI so I can layer it with other synths. Anyway... help? Suggestions?

Re: Looking For: MIDI Pattern Generator
Yeah I was gonna suggest the same. There’s a couple of other ones out there, but the names slip my mind. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
