Default Problem with 2nd hard drive

Hello fam!

I have a question:

I have a seperate hard drive that i want to record on, so when I try to record on it, it says "Cannot allocate space to record" or something like that (I'm at work now, thats why I can't be exact). But then I try to allocate it to my new hard drive with protools on the drive and then it says "try reducing hardware buffersize" then when i reduce it, it says "try increasing hardware buffer size"

I really need help....

Default Re: Problem with 2nd hard drive

You should start with the steps in the Win XP/ Pro Tools 6.x/7.x General Troubleshooting thread and post specific info on your system per the info on that thread if you're unable to resolve the problem.
