Default Pro Tools 10 not installing!!! HELP

I'm using Pro Tools MP9 and wanting to upgrade to PT 10. After downloading the trial version, I can't install it. I'm getting an error at the end of install. "Mac OSX Startup Disk has no more space available for Application Memory"

I have left MP9 on my HD. Do I really need to uninstall it?

My HD has over 200GB of space available and I have 4GB of Ram. I've reset my NVRAM/PRAM and that didn't help. What's going on?

Thanks!
