7.3 problem (ahhh!) completing initial load

just upgraded (against my better judgement) to 7.3. all seemed to go well until the first time i ran it. drivers, plugs, hardware, etc., loads. but at the end of the process an error message flashes and ejects the program. so fast i cannot read or capture the image to detail the error message. i do not even get to the point of entering the new auth code. should probably just re-install 7.0 which worked flawlessly but if anyone has any ideas i would be very grateful. thanks
