Default ? applications that allow remote access to other computers

I remember a thread from the last week or 2 talking about applications for controlling satellite computers from the master one via some form of screen sharing that was cross compatible PC<>MAC.

Now I can't fined it or remember were it was so if someone could point me to it.

Thanks,

Craig

I've been using tight VNC server on the PC satellite but I'm not really happy with it. It seems to break the satellite link now and then and it's giving me a hard time to get it up again.

Mac to Mac is pretty simple, it's built in to 10.5 and beyond and the free "Jolly's Fast VNC" works really well in 10.4 and 10.5. You would have to get some VNC client running on a PC to control a Windows box but on the Mac you just enable Apple Remote Desktop and or Screen Sharing (depending on the OS) in the sharing pane.

That is pretty cool - I just downloaded it and checked it out - it works really well!

On the iPhone, I use JaaduVNC ($25) and I think it rocks.

Thanks guys.

It's 2 Mac HD3s and a HP for Media Composer for VS.
I'd like to drop the extra KVM set for controlling the HP.
