running Logic Audio and Pro Tools at same time
Hi out there! Maybe you know this thing:
I'd like to use Logic Audio as my MIDI Sequencer and PT as Audio Sequencer at the same time. The sense: I can control my MIDI Devices (such as Synths, Sampler,...) through Logic (better MIDI Implementation) and record their Outputs with Pro Tools (better Audio performance). So I need all my MIDI Ports in Logic (with disabled Audio driver). I tried to launch first Logic without Audio drivers installed, but PT doesn't launch ("hardware is in use by another application..."), then I tried to launch PT first, but then I got no MIDI Ports in Logic. Do I really need another for running both programs at the same time? help needed Bernie |

Re: running Logic Audio and Pro Tools at same time
You need to disable your MIDI and Wav drivers for the 001. It's in the control panel/ Multimedia/ audio options. If this isn't clear enough do a search and you'll find about 1000 of these same responses.
