12.4 Crashing when opening templates

yeah I have installed them in the official folder, actually created a new one just for me and they work when you create a new session with them.

Only problem is I have 5 mix rooms and a few laptops at my disposal at work so I have been slowly updating my workstations as I move through out the facility.

I just duplicate the folder and change the file extension to .ptx

There is a workaround for opening templates with 12.4 if you are having the crashing issue:

add your template to the Misc folder:

/Users/Home/Documents/Pro Tools/Session Templates/Misc

And then..

*open from the Pro Tools File menu ~ Create New
*Check the box for Create From Template
*Choose template group Misc
*Double click on your Template
