003 rack works mbox2 minicrashes macbook

Hello kind DUC members,

I have been using my 003rack with PT 7.4.2 on a macbook pro OSX 10.5.4 2.66 processor, 4gig ram. It's working great.

Just lately I have tried to plug my mbox2 mini in for editing without having to have the gear rack. Anyways it crashes my mack. My question is do I need to install a separate usb driver for the Mbox? and if so which one. My 003 rack works great. I would like to use the mbox2 mini for more portability.

No, you don't need to install a separate drive.

When you say it 'crashes your Mac' - what happens exactly?

Have you tried trashing preference and database files yet, per the info in the General Troubleshooting thread?

i have pt7.4.2 cs2 and leopard in my macbook pro 2.4 \ 2 giga ram
my digi003 rack run OK, but my Mbox 2, crash in the same sessions.-

the mbox 2 no support the same number of plug ins that my digi003rack

in the past the Mbox Classic is better, support the same sessions that my digi002rack in tiger.-
