Stutter effect popping problem
So I have a song where I use the Stutter Effect on a vocal (Clip wave several times and mute between to create stutter effect), but everytime the stutter effect happens I get a high popping or clipping sound from the effect. The Wave is not too loud or anything it's just the clipped effect causing it. Does anybody know how to prevent this? Thanks

Recording Revolution is a bunch of people that put together tutorials that are pretty decent; there's no one author for all of them. |

Re: Stutter effect popping problem
@Danny;
I think musicman is on the money with his assessment. When I run into this, here's what I do: 1) Use the Object Grabber to select all the pieces. 2) Set your nudge value to 1 or 2 ticks 3) Ctrl + or Ctrl - (number pad) while listening. (I use a Mac) This moves the audio within the region by the set nudge amount. You can usually find a place where the pop disappears. Hope this helps. |

Re: Stutter effect popping problem
Update. I found the quickest solution to this was to create mini (1/64th) crossfades between the live and muted clips, this worked perfectly
