Default Two feature requests

1.
An option where markers follow edits or can be linked to shuffle.
I'm working on an audio book and it would be a time saver.

2.
Copy to pallet.
This would be a floating window that would contain multiple clips of audio to temporarily save for copy/paste.
Copy to the pallet then go on with edits, oh you need that room tone again, no problem, select it from the pallet.

Make that 3 requests:
Ability to flag or highlight region.

Hello. Your #1 request can already be done. When you are in shuffle and you have a selection, shift + click on the Markers timeline and it will include the selection. When you cut, the marker will follow along. I think your #2 request falls under the eternal quest for bins. I am not sure I understand what your #3 request is about or what it's for, but maybe look into the Color features. You can color tracks, regions, groups, etc. That could be what you are looking for. Good luck.

1.
Very cool all these years and another new thing for my workflow!
So many features to memorize
Thanks for not saying "RTFM" even though I need to to about every 6 months or so.

2.
I really think this would help many workflows and be a great addition to the regions bin.

3.
This was more of an after thought while editing an audio book.
I was thinking it would be helpful to highlight a region for quick identifying.
I guess I'll have to read the read me on what's new in 7 and see.

2. Oh how we miss Audiovision sometimes

3. now that would be class, being able to highlight clips in different colours like you can highlight folders etc in osx, would save time and stress when doing wild VO's etc and the client is just barking 'I like that one........and that one' from the back of the studio as you play through your takes.

Although this works I think it is simply a workaround. A more elegant solution IMO would be to make the marker timeline groupable.

Also, when you use the trim tool in shuffle mode the markers do not follow. It would be nice to have this option.

And when you make a selection in shuffle and include the marker the marker deletes with the selection. So if you need the marker then you would have to enter a new one.

Wow. Uh, I guess I look a little stupid for not reading the "What's new in PT7" before posting on new features. But hey, I've only been on PT7 a week.

Um, yea that will work fine.
