Default uninstall issue with pro tools 10.3.3 and interface driver

After uninstalling pro tools 10.3.3 so that I can install pro tools 11.3.1 I still had skeleton files lingering in the control panels programs and features. How do I get rid of these files? Please help??

Can't you right-click on them and uninstall them? If not, I wouldn't worry too much and go ahead with your 11 install. With any system that has had 10 installed, there will be plenty of leftovers moving to 11(or newer). Truth be told, your best bet would be to start completely fresh(which means a fresh load of Windows and everything else). Now the easy way to do that would be if you saved drive images in the past and had a drive image with Windows tweaked, with no PT or plugins installed. For me, I would have left the system drive with PT10 just as it was, removed the drive(save it as a backup) and start over with a fresh load, preferably on a fast SSD drive.

I'm sure you're cursing this advice, but consider; every plugin you have will need to be reloaded/updated to AAX64 format. That means there will be several GB worth of "scrap" files on your C: drive.
