Default Guitar tuner plug-in

Did a search because I saw this somewhere before but couldn't find it. Anyone know of a good digital guitar tuner, preferably a plug-in?

Chris,

In another thread you said:

The only thing I trust more than my own ears is a Sanderson Accu-Tuner.
(They're around $800 used on the cheap end...)
__________________________________________________ __________________________

Now I realize $800.00 used is a fairly expensive tuner and probably quite reliable but I am wondering how well the bomb factory plug stacks up? Do you trust it? Why the SAT instead of the BF plug?

Has anyone tested the various plug tuners?....I.e. amplitube etc?

cheers,

dave

I haven't found a guitar tuner plugin that holds a candle to my outboard.

I use a Peterson Strobe (stomp box model). Better than all my other tuners (Boss, Line 6, Korg) rolled into one. Paid 169.00 for it. No way I'd ever spend $800.00 on a tuner.

I stand by what I stated before, so no, I don't trust it more than my own ears. I was merely pointing him toward a free plugin that might fit his needs. The SAT was developed by a physicist who specializes in acoustics (similar to my formal background/education credentials) and is the preferred electronic tuner for any professional Piano Tuner who chooses to augment their own ears with modern technology.

Cheers,
Chris
