Amen to that. I can get HD/Native with the HD IO 8x8x8 for around $4500. After selling the 003 and CPTK2, I'm close to $3K but I'd need to buy an 8 channel preamp if I want to record 16 tracks. If cash weren't so tight, it would be a no-brainer
