MacPro 1.1 and Maverick

Has anyone done the mod to install Maverick on a Gen 1.1 MacPro? I want to be able to use Strike 2 and the new VI which both require Maverick. I know Maverick is not PT verified, but I've not had issues with it on an iMac at work.
