Instrument Track Input problem
I have NI Maschine and I would like to use it as a VST plug-in inside of Protools 9. However, when I create a Stereo Instrument track, I can not choose "plug'in" under the Input tab.. it's greyed out. I can choose Interface and Bus just fine but the "plug-in" option is inactive.
How can I change this?

Pro Tools does not recognize VST plug-ins natively. You should use the RTAS version, which would have been installed as well.
You would 'insert' maschine on an instrument track, not configure it as input.
