Doesn't this "upgrade" reduce the maximum allowed number of tracks from the previous 6tracks to now only 4 in Live Lite 5? Wouldn't this offest some other advantages so that for some this is in actuallity not an "enhancement"?
Is there any way for someone working in Live5 to "Save As" in a live light 4 compatible file format so that anyone who the file might be shared with can get at least 6 tracks to work with?

As a workaround to the track limit in Live Lite 5
I usually import a sample straight into to PT first then trim a loop to one or two bars Then I compress thetrack to 0 ms.
Open up Live 5 in Slave mode and navigate to the wav file in the PT audio folder and the loop is usually in perfect time to the tempo set in PT with very little artifects. I then export from Live 5 and reimport the tempo adjusted audio files back into PT.
It works a treat --Live Lite 5 Digidesign Edition is sonically far better than Live Lite 4 Digidesign Edition
