Default cannot change 002R SR with CoreAudioMgr?

h'lo all...this is gettin' wierd!
I'm now on PT9.0.2 connected to my 002R, which is sittin' on 44.1k. If I open Digi Core Audio Mgr. (ver. 9.01...the one that came with the X.02 upgrade), it shows that I'm at 44.1, but all other options - 48k, etc. - are greyed out. Can't change it. And if I open AudioMidi setup, it shows that I'm at 44.1k and I can change that to 48k, but the lights on the 002R don't change and as soon as I close and reopen AMS, it reverts back to 44.1. If I open PTools, I can change it to 48k, but as soon as I quit that PTools session, it reverts back to 44.1k?
hmmmmmm........
