Optimizing OS X for Pro Tools?
Hi,
Is there any more information on how to optimize OS X for Pro tools than the troubleshooting thread (http://duc.digidesign.com/showflat.p...fpart=1#313423)? Thank you.

Re: Optimizing OS X for Pro Tools?
There's some useful general maintenance tips on the SOS forum.

Thanks, those are good!
However, I'm looking for more specific details for Pro Tools optimization. Anyone?

Re: Optimizing OS X for Pro Tools?
Beyond what's in the General Troubleshooting thread, there's not much more that's needed in the way of optimization. About the only thing more you can do is make sure you're not running any applications or services that aren't needed - remove anything from your Accounts Login Items tab and MacHD>Library>Startup Items that's not absolutely necessary.
