I still have the problem with the ReWire plug-in. It's in the correct folder, it shows in the launch windows when I start PT 11 but then is missing from the inserts menu.
Am I the only one with this problem ? I own Reason 4.
Both the mixer and the device must be 64-bit for rewire to work. If Reason 4 is only 32-bit, that explains the problem.

64 bit... For V6 & 7 go to Reason App get info de-select run in 32 bit and launch once.
Reason 6 or 6.5 became 64 bit as is Rsn 7 (Which works even in offline)(Unless your running MIDI to outboard synths/FX)

Time to upgrade that Reason 4.

And if you're on Windows Reason 7 32 bit and 64 bit are separate installers; there's only the one installer for Mac OSX that works in both 32 and 64 bit.

I just want to report that on Windows 8 the 64-bit version of REAPER is working great in ReWire. It gives me plugins I couldn't otherwise use because 64-bit AAX versions aren't ready yet. Haven't messed with offline bounce so I'm not sure if that is supported or not.

After you install Reason, you need to open, authorize, and set it up in standalone BEFORE trying to run it in Pro Tools 11 with Rewire.

I have Reason 7 running great in PT11 here on Windows 8.

That was what we had issues with and worked as it should after doing this so good catch Benoni. Don't think that exact thing is outlined very good and we found this info here on the DUC

It's actually in the PT11 ReadME. Page 5 of the Windows ReadMe and page 6 for the Mac ReadME.

I have a vid about it posted too.
