Flawless Upgrade from PT 10.9.3 to PT 12.4 with Digi 003

Just an anecdotal upgrade story which may help some folks.

1) Started with: iMac 2,1 (i5 CPU), OS X 10.8.5 (Mountain Lion); Digi 003 (as dongle only - I use other converters and preamps); PT 10.3.9 (Native); Certain plugins (Waves 9.2 (outside of WUP), Altiverb 7.05, Ozone 5.02, Massey).

2) Steps:

Purchased iLok 2 (I had an iLok 1). Purchased annual subscription to PT 10/11/12 before end of 2015. Installed Newest Digi 003 driver; Installed PT 12.4.

Installed the new iLok softare and transferred/activated my licenses to the new iLok2.

Rans tests, PT 12.4 and 10.3.9 (the one I've been using for years - i.e., no uninstall and reinstall) both ran fine.

Waves requires (at a minimun) Mac OS 10.9.5 (Mavericks) to work with PT 12.x. Installed Mac OS 10.9.5 (fortunately I had purchased it from the Apple Store some time ago for another computer so I have access to it for my studio computer). I bought the Platinum to Diamond bundle upgrade for $330 which includes WUP for one year. After installing Waves 9.6, it ran fine. Needed to upgrade the Massey stuff too (that was free). Even though they both worked with the new software abovem I went ahead and upgraded Altiverb and Ozone too (those were free too).

No issues on the upgrades at all. Everything runs fine.

3) Side Effects: Digi 003's low latency monitoring is still not working (it didn't work in PT 10.x either). Kernel task for the Mac OS is running about 40% to 50% on one core, which is high and has been reported by other users. Since I don't record or mix many tracks, this will not be a problem.
