What is a "Mix I/O" Card??
Ok, so... in my experience with Mix, I've used the following cards
Mix Core Mix Farm D24 DSP Farm DSP Farm II But looking over some expanded systems guide info, there is SPECIFIC reference to a "MIX I/O" Card.... What is that????

MIX I/O is basically a d24 card that has been castrated of it's core card capability. It will work to add I/O, but not as a core.
There is also a card called "project II" that looks identical to a d24, but does not have TDM or core card functionality. The project II was sold for using 888's with Logic, etc. but did not work with Pro Tools.
