Dimmed solo button?

I have worked in Pro Tools for a long time but its the first time I noticed this. Solo button on one of the tracks are dimmed. Anyone knows?

Are you using a Satellite Link? From the PT manual:

Track Solo Indicator Lights yellow when any track in the session is soloed. When no tracks in the session are soloed, the Track Solo indicator ap- pears dim green. For systems using Satellite Link, the Track Solo indicator lights dim yellow when a track is soloed on any satellite system.

This is very easy to do accidentally - at least for me it is. Just command-click on the solo button and it should go back to "normal".

At first I also thought a track was solo-safed, but looking at the picture the dimmed solo button is yellow, not the dimmed grey that a solo safed track would be.

you can solo a Track, which is in Solo Safe mode. Then its dimmed and yellow...

When I solo a solo safed track, the solo button is the same saturation of yellow as a non solo safed track. PT 2018.12

Is the dim solo appearing on a VCA? Your solo mode is probably in latch. If you solo the VCA and then a track which it is controlling, you get the dim yellow solo.
