ADC for sidehain for native plugins with latency

Increase Delay Comp to 4x the current 16K (or 32K at high SR's) to 64K flat for all SR's.

Better low latency performance especially on mac, i.e, to make 32 and 64 buffers usable to play VI's with an monitor large track counts through the PT mixer.

Integrated elastic pitch, melodyne like

Fix the radius internal "behind the scenes" settings so it stops ruining transients. This has been requested since 2008!

Bug fix for elastic audio commit

Bug fix for VI's losing their midi assignment

Midi plugins directly on midi tracks aka logic/cubase - arp for example

Better integration for those using DSP mixers (RME/Apollo/Motu CuemixFXm, etc) for overdubbing, i.e like every other DAW in existence.

minimum 64 i.o for core audio, 128 even better, like every other DAW.

Improvements to audio quantize

Hahah you don’t ask for much huh?

I take offense to the especially on a Mac comment....we are all equally important here in PT land.

Once you get all these requests you should never update your system again m

I quite agree.
I’m mixing an unusually large session with a load of plug-ins this week and it’s humming along like it’s nothing.
And yet other times I get the buffer errors like crazy in sessions that should not really be taxing.
It all just seems so maddeningly random.

But the thing is also like to see in the next release is finally a consolidated single PT version with the only differences being those required by hardware.
It’s way past time.

Default What You Would Like To See In the Next Release?

You guys need to dream half way awake.....

They just marketed PTU and probably raised the price....it is still not going to be one unified kingdom- that would hurt their financial strategy (unless they make PT unified and charge everyone $399 a year to renew, that is definitely possible)

Best you can hope for is to lower the entry price for the Ultimate software as is....that would allow people to get in on the extras without having to sacrifice so much upfront. The annual $399 isn’t a lot once your in (what does it bring you is an whole other story, I personally didn’t see much added benefit of annual subscriptions....but the software is good)

- Grid Line contrast slider (are those things getting harder to see or is it just my old age??)
- Fix sidechain delay compensation issues
- Lift the 256 track limit on "Ultimate" or HD or whatever they're calling it now
- Fix crashes / weird mono playback / timeline jump bugs when dragging and dropping audio into sessions
- Fix the bug where you can't click on the track color when the track is "small"
- Fix the MIDI sustain bug when punching in using "MIDI merge"

+1

Maybe we can request a way to hook one of those Alexa Echo things to Pro Tools so we can just verbally dictate commands.
