I Need Help With Lightpipe
I getting ready to buy a Digidesign Digi 002 Rack, and I'm to going to buy a Behringer board to run through the 002 with the Lightpipe. Here's my question, what Behringer board would be best to buy since I need at least 16 tracks to run simultaneously? Or is there any other boards that would work with the Lightpipe you would suggest?
Thanks for your help y'all |

Re: I Need Help With Lightpipe
The only boards with lightpipe are digital boards and the only Behringer digital board I know of is several years old. Are you referring to the Behringer ADA8000? That is not a board but does work with the 002 as it has 8 mic preamps and a lightpipe output and will expand the 002 inputs to 12 on a budget. To get to 16 mic inputs, you will still need 4 more preamps with analog outputs and patch them into the 4 002 line inputs(5 thru 8) and you should set the input level switches on the back to the +4 position(because most outboard preamps have +4 line level outputs).
