Default PT 10 spinning beachball with Slate Monster VMR

Anyone else tried to instantiate the latest Slate VMR with The Monster in a Pro Tools 10 session? I get the spinning beachball every time until I force quit. If I install the legacy version I am told that there is no iLok auth for it, probably because I installed the newest auth for Monster on my iLok. Also, turns out the only way to get tech support from them is to schedule a phone call, which has to be on Skype, and the earliest available one is this Friday. Not only is that way too long to wait but I'm gonna be out of town that day. Man!

So just wondering if anyone has had better luck with this. Also, if not, just want to warn anyone else from getting the new free plugin in case it doesn't work for anyone else here.

By the way, I'm on Pro Tools 10.3.10 HD on a Mac pro with a PE6R4 expansion chassis with 6 cards in it.

Working fine here. I didn't use the new auth code because I already had vmr so I was just an update.

Amagras, thanks for the reply. I have pretty much all of the VMR modules too. I can't remember if I tried VMR without the new auth code or not. I also downloaded the latest iLok software. Maybe that's contributing to the problem because at one point it lost the auths for Pro Tools until I installed the legacy driver. What a mess. I'll try and re-install an older version of the iLok software.

Try looking for a folder inside the ilok manager zip labelled "old installers" and install that too.

Ok thanks. Did that as far as the extentions goes but I'll go ahead and see what else is in there.

Just installed the update and it worked to solve any problems that were happening. I would recommend it.
