Very few....but thankfully there are options and with Empirical Labs releasing a plugin including AAX DSP is very good thing.

I honestly wish UAD would release the analog classics bundle and a few channel strips as AAX-DSP.

I would need nothing else. (Yes I understand why that will never happen but it's fun to dream)
I agree.

Arouser is excellent- I've been using it since the release and it is one of my favourite compressors.

It is sad to see that AAX DSP is dying a death.

AVID don't move quickly so I don't expect anything seismic at NAMM but I'm slowly moving away from HDX to a native (actually Rednet) system.
They need to remove the 32 channel limit for me to stay with PT, otherwise I'll just end up using Logic more and more.

We have a fully searchable AAX plugin database which includes the option to filter just for AAX DSP plug-ins. https://www.pro-tools-expert.com/aax-plug-in-database/ Although I would say AAX DSP development has slowed up with a few exceptions.

Well done. So there are 174 DSP plug-ins available according to this list.

I don’t think AAX DSP is dying; there is probably a new AAX DSP Plugin released every month or two. How many new plugins does one really need? I personally am brand loyal to a few plugin manufacturers (McDSP, Plugin Alliance, Sonnox, Softube, Izotope, DMGAudio, Eventide, Avid, Dave Hill) and outside of those few I pretty much couldn’t care less what is released out there. Those I am brand loyal to tend to be the AAX DSP devs and I buy up everything they put out. As a result I have way more incredible sounding options than I will ever need for most duties. If that sounds like “dead” to you then I don’t know what you are asking for.

This is important as a AAX-DSP owner....it is important to support them.

There still is no DSP harmonic distortion plugin that anyone makes that's like what Sound Toys makes. Not one. And 174 plugins? Man that's peanuts compared to what we have in non DSP plugins. It's not a sellout to admit that DSP development didn't pan out the way that it was advertised to do.
