I've seen two videos up until now of people managing to run 10.. but the menu's are greyed out until you roll over them

I'm still running PT 10.3.7 on Mavericks x.9.5 - there's still a huge amount of bugs; such as having to reload sessions every 20 minutes to regain outputs on certain tracks. There's also the odd few lock ups in sessions, but I've had that on 10 ever since it was released many moons ago.

I guess I'll download the latest copy of 10 tonight, and then do the switch to Yosemite. There's no way hell in high ground that I will be switching to PT 11. All of my favourite plug-ins I rely on for my career haven't bothered to shift to AAX, and after speaking to their developers they're all jumping out of the Avid market.

- I will give you guys an update once I've pulled the trigger tonight.

And which plug-ins are these....?

For me 11 has been a real boom for productivity.

FYI

10.3.7 working awesome and dare I say bug free in 10.8.4

I have the same problem.
I've been using Yosemite betas for a few months, the problem went away at one point, I think it was when I installed PT 10 on a Mountain Lion partition, but came back when I update a Yosemite beta. ATM I have PT 10 on a Mountain lion portion and PT 10&11 on Mavericks partition and on a Yosemite partition.
I'll report back when I find a solution.

These items were moved to the "Incompatible Software" folder on the top level of the system drive; "DigidesignFireWireMIDI" and "DigiDioMidiDriver.plugin". Everything else seems intact.

Starting to play with Yosemite and ProToolsHD 11.2.1 after a full backup. So good so far. We'll see what happens when I connect my aging MBox 2 Pro on Monday....

Unless I get a separate machine just for surfing the web and checking email. I’m sticking with Mountain Lion which runs great.

Just curious: if you click the green plus "maximize" button, does PT go full screen? that would make me everso happy.

I would bet Avid needs to write this into PT. Just a guess though.
