Hi Everyone,
Im using a Dual 800 quicksilver running 10.3.5 and 6.4.1
Normally I use scsi drives but I need to start using Firewire.
I am still getting the 9131 error message.
The drive has been formatted to OS extended.

Does anyone know when this problem will be fixed? I do have a new mac running 10.3.5 and have just bought a new firewire device. This would be a big waste of cash if it's not gonna work.
thanks...

During our testing of Mac OS X 10.3.5, Digidesign has discovered an intermittent problem when using FireWire drives. We strongly recommend that users continue using 10.3.2 or 10.3.4 until Digidesign officially qualifies 10.3.5 for use with Pro Tools.

If you purchase a newer Apple computer that ships with 10.3.5 (released August 9, 2004), you will not be able to install an older operating system. Although you may be able to use these systems with 10.3.5 with Pro Tools, these systems have not been officially qualified by Digidesign.

For the latest official support information, please refer to the Digidesign Compatibility Documents, linked from the Support section and here on the DUC.
