Default Catching a fader...

Ok I don't know how else to describe this one.
It's a feel thing.

One of the biggest bummers about the S1/Dock is the feel of the faders. I don't mean the actual physical faders... I mean how they write.

Very often I have an automation line that goes up or down... that I want to start writing on the slope of it...

on the s1/dock I cannot do it without getting a bump... it's like the fader is trailing or something.

I do this very often on the Icon, no problem, smooth sailing...

here's a video showing what the heck I mean
https://youtu.be/QKbuFQL1f5c

Is it me?... I don't think it's me...

... I'm not crazy...

here's another one where I just put my finger on the fader to stop it's slope.... you can see it glide up to a higher value... I promise my finger is just static...

update #2

The Avid Control App does NOT have the same problem.
Nice straight line as you would expect.

... hmmm

... bumping this up.

I've checked with 2 other mixers that both have the same issue...

can anyone verify here one way or the other if they have the same issue?

I can't be the only one that thinks this is not expected behavior.
