Waves WUP 2013! AAX?

I just got an email from waves announcing their NEW wup plan and pricing.

Of interest tho is the email states:

"You get the latest Waves versions, which means total compatibility with all major audio hosts and operating systems. You can move between Mac and PC, from Pro Tools to Logic to Nuendo and beyond - and back again."

They are still using the term "TOTAL COMPATIBILITY" and Pro Tools in the same sentence. Not "Partial" compatibility. I would think Legally "TOTAL" would mean it would have to support AAX DSP or it would be false advertising.

Thoughts?

I just got WUP'D by waves and it will have a $300 "cap" on all products that you wanna WUP so what does it all mean!? Why am I here!? Why is waves releasing a new WUP now!? Is this AAX Native compatible!? What does PT mean!? What is waves!? Why is the sky blue and in our case "Sweden" grey!?

Jokin' aside, Is the aax update in this 2013 wup you think? Atleast aax native maybe as it is coming out today and you get 20% off if you wup yo ass right now within 30 days.. sounds like a line I use on Chicks

Hi,

This is not an update!! just notification that they are putting WUP up 50% from 1/1/2013

It will be $300 instead of $200 (But $240 if you update within 1 month of it running out)


Nothing new other than a price rise on WUP

Hmm.. A 30% Price rise on the Wup! Is anything new added and where can I see any additional plugins with my bundle?

I think it was january 1st when that wup is released and I think everyone will get that email, just got it a few minutes ago. We only have the Gold waves thank God as it is getting worse and worse over at wavemakers so I think we will just keep our wup as is if it isn't a Huge PI count added (which it won't be) or AAX support otherwise they can keep their WUP as we are tired of that by now!

I feel like I just got Wup'd in the ass again ... 300 bux for maybe one or two most likely discontinued PI's and bad support and in rtas aswell .. Thankx but No thanx Waves!
