Default Mbox Pro control panel crash

After running PT 9 on a 002R I've purchased a Mbox Pro (3) and now I can't launch the Avid Mbox Pro Driver control Panel in System Preferences.

It crashes every time.

I´ve installed the newest driver for Mbox Pro and deleted the prefs.

Anybody?

Bump

Please Avid guys...

It´s really a problem - I can't configure the Mbox Pro and get the benefit of the new features.

Did a clean OS X install.
No external drives attached.
Only iLok and mouse/keyboard.
Installed new Mbox (3) drivers.
Installed PT 9
Shot the iMac down.
Turned on the Mbox.
Turned on the iMac.
Launched PT.
Played the Demo Session (The Legion) fine.
Pressed the Setup/Hardware/Launch control panel.
It showed up briefly and crashed.

Made a second user.

Launched system preferences/Avid Mbox Pro.
Headphone A is not working.
Turned off/on the Mbox.
Headphone A is working.

Made a third user.
Shot down iMac.
Shot down Mbox.
Turned on Mbox
Turned on iMac
No headphones is playing.
Turned off/on the Mbox.
Both headphones is playing.

Back to user 1.
Launched system preferences/Avid Mbox Pro.
It still crashes!

Anyone else having problems whith the Mbox control panel (found in System Preferences and in Pro Tools)?

I think the new system/driver is VERY unstable but maybe you (Avid guys) can use my case to make it working.

Well 102 views and no response from Avid... yet...

Yesterday I powered up the rig and there was white noise in headphone a.
Turned the Mbox Pro off/on and it worked again...

Happy holidays ;-)

Did you ever find a solution?

Thumbs down Re: Mbox Pro control panel crash

My Problem is, that the Control Panel does not exactly crash, but i just get a bunch of graphic Errors.

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2733778/Bild...2007.30.44.png

I tried everything, got the newest drivers (1.08) for my Mbox 3. Re-installed OSX 10.6.6, re-installed ProTools (9.01) (now i'm downloading 9.02).
And i'm getting a CPU Overload all the Time, no matter how many PlugIns or Tracks i have opened.

Everything but Avid-Stuff works fine....
Just hate it. Going back to a Pro Software like Cubase with some Pro-Hardware...
