brand new mac pro, ran softwear update to 10.4.10 tiger

the 10.4.9 combo wont install, it says the drive doesnt meet the requirments

pre binding softwear check comes up ok?

pro tools 7.0 hard crashes my mac like a mofo the second i try to launch.

i want to get 7.3 but cause of some registration stuff i cant seem to get the upgrade.

any help? since ive already spent an entire 10 $ phone card to wait on hold all afternoon? i come here for some help

You need Pro Tools 7.1.1 or higher for compatibility with an Intel Mac. You should do a clean uninstall of 7.0 before installing 7.1.1.
