Default clock error message after mp3 export

I have been getting regular clock error messages after exporting files from PT10 and then trying to play anything in protools. The only solution is to quit and restart pro tools.
It does not happen every time but more often than not. There are no other instances of clock error. This occurs with or without my metric halo ULN2 connected.
I had the same problem in PT9
I am using a macbook 2 Ghz core duo with 4GB RAM

any solutions?
