Default Wave Arts AAX DSP.

I see at JRRSHOP and Don't Crack I can get the Wave Arts AAX DSP bundle for around $381.00 on sale. Seeing that they have 3 of the 5 plugins in the bundle are AAX DSP I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on this, but I want to know from any members on here about their thoughts and experience with the company and use of the plugins. Maybe a comparison between your other go to plugins and if they fit into your daily workflow?

Any thoughts are welcomed.

I used their plugs back in the day. Some of them were nice and some just nothing special. I don't use them anymore. Good to hear they made it into the AAX-DSP platform though :)

MultiDynamics is a different beast, but I still find myself using it sometimes for noise reduction in post; I like that it's very efficient. I also sometimes reach for TrackPlug. I also like their Tube Saturator, although it's not DSP, but very nice nonetheless.

I have the Saturator too. Never use it because of the CPU drain.

That's too bad. It's essential for me. Got 12 on a mix right now...

Yeah, the funny thing about the tube saturator is that the first instance seems to give a big hit to the CPU, but additional instances seem to hit it less. Not sure why that is, but it does seem to be the case.

I have all Wavearts plugins and must say this company is a way under rated on the market.
They have a great customer support, they fix bugs pretty fast, they had among the firsts almost full AAX DSP support and they sound great!
For me their plugins outperform a trendy Slate Digital plugins and many others "Cosmopolitan/ Playboy" alike graphic interface designed plugins.
For instance their Tube Saturation is one of the best if not the best processor.
The multi band Dynamics very clean and versatile and may be better that even new Avid Pro Multidynamics. Its better than ML4000 or MC2000 or C4/C6 IMHO.
They have a very useful Noise Reduction Suite which had a great Denoiser with adjustable threshold and Gain reduction….came out 5 years before iZotope RX3 with their Dialog denoiser did.
They may look not so fancy-shmency a.k.a Slate but if you try and learn how to use them, you may achieve much better results, which won't be smeared to death (called the "analog warmth" in today trends).
Get the demo and try them for yourselves.
The company only disadvantage is their weak marketing skills so they don't blink everywhere on the banners.

Wave Arts is a very solid developer. I use their plug-ins regularly.

A little less. But, this is the case with most big power-pullers...
