Hanging+Sticking Mouse Clicks with Artist Mix/Eucon

I recently have been getting issues with sticky and hanging mouse clicks when my Artist Mix and EuCon are turned on.

Strangely enough it happens both in and outside of the DAW in Windows 10.

I downloaded X-Click to monitor my mouse clicks (to try to narrow down the problem) and as soon as I quit EuCon, the strange double-clicking/sticky-clicking issues stops.

Has anyone had this problem before? Hoping to resolve it as otherwise using my Artist Mix is difficult.

You need to turn off External Workstations in the prefs

Hi Eddie, I have tried that, but at least at the moment it is checked, but greyed out. It won't even allow me to uncheck it. In the past it has been unchecked. Not sure how to get it unchecked? Thank you for your reply!

I have the same problem,after updating to latest Win 10 I have problems with
Both 3.7 and 3.6.1 in PT 12.82. My mouseklicks behave strange, so Eucon is for the moment unuseable.
Please look in to the problem.

Try this:
In search type Regedit, right click it and run as Administrator. Be careful not to change anything else.

Look for this folder and delete it: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Euphonix\Disco very

Look for this folder Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\AVID\Discover y and change ExternalWorkstationEnabled to 0, and LoopbackFeatureEnabled to 1

Restart the computer.

Did either of you have S6 software on your machine ever ?

I'm having this exact same issue (I think) with a Color deck thingy.
If I stop the EuCon processes everything returns to normal, but while they are running I'm having the same issues with the mouse described here.
(sluggish / double clicks instead of single / no click reg at all / sticky window dragging)

Unfortunately although I can find the reg entry:
\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Euphonix\Discovery

I can't find this one:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\AVID\Discovery
(and so can't change ExternalWorkstationEnabled to 0)

Send key+mouse to another workstation is not ticked in the EU config though.

What version of EUCON are you running ?
