Default MBOX Pro, 3rd generation, causes occasional blue screen of death.

Sometimes my mbox can be on all day, nothing. Sometimes it happens many times consecutively.

I didn't manage to get a screen shot of BSOD, however I had the report that pops up when the computer boots back up.

It's a real problem, because it happens randomly, sometimes right in the middle of a session.

Has anyone had this problem, how do I go about fixing it. Any tips?

Assuming:

(1) You’ve done all the Windows 7 Optimizations:
http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/T...oting/en349411

(2) You’ve already installed:
Mbox Pro Driver Update - Windows: version 1.1.10
http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/d...ox-Pro-Drivers

(3) You’ve disabled Norton Internet Security (bundled with Products: GA-Z87X-D3H (rev. 1.x))

(4) You’ve “upgraded” the Realtek HD audio driver:

FAQs
Windows crashes when I start Adobe Audition, Adobe Encore DVD, Adobe Premiere Elements, or Adobe Premiere Pro.
Please upgrade Realtek HD audio driver to latest version, and you can download this driver from Realtek website at http://www.realtek.com.tw
Products: GA-Z87X-D3H (rev. 1.x)

If “yes” to the 4 above: you could try moving all Plugins to the “Unused” Folders – restart system and see if it still crashes.
If now stable, return all the Avid Plugins – restart system and see if it still crashes.
If still stable, return all your Third-Party Plugins one-by-one, to find the potential “culprit”.

If this doesn’t work, please post a Sandra Report so others can help you.
