Legal way to use a second iLok?
I run Pro Tools on two different machines. Recordings are made on my laptop, and editing is done on my desktop. I often forget to grab the iLok when moving from one machine to the other, which is usually no problem; I just go to the other room and get it.
But I'm paranoid I'm going to forget the iLok when I'm off to record a live gig, which would be really bad news. Is there an option to have a second iLok so I can keep each with their respective machine? (I understand I can buy a second copy of Pro Tools, but that sounds excessive.) I'm not trying to run two copies of Pro Tools simultaneously, and have no issue with the notion of copy protection. But it would be nice to (legally) protect myself from my own blunders. Any ideas? |

Re: Legal way to use a second iLok?
move the license back to your ilok.com account when you are done at the location
then download it to the computer you are going to use when you are ready to work
