Pro tools 8.04cs2 upgrade, Pro tools wont launch! Please help me!

Hi I just upgraded my pro tools from 8.01 to 8.04 and luck would have it now pro tools wont launch for me.

Before that I upgraded my osx to 10.6.6 and when I had pro tools 8.01 it worked fine but after upgrading to 8.04 I get up to the point just before where i select to reopen an old session start a new session etc. I get a error msg saying that pro tools has encountered an "unexpected error" and quits itself

I even tried upgrading from 8.04 to 8.04cs2 in case there was a solution with this upgrade but I still get the same result.

Please if anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated. I don't have the money to pay!!! for customer support on a program that i paid a bucketload for in the first place.

I need my pro tools I got the music inside of me pops!

I couldn't find any mention of any compatibility of PT 8.x with OSX 10.6.6 - the highest level I could find was compatibility with 10.6.5 = this may be what's causing you some grief...

I'm on OSX 10.6.6 and running PT 8.04cs2 just fine so I dont think it's compatibility issues.

What interface are you using? From what version of OSX did you upgrade? Have you upgraded any plugins? How did you upgrade from 8.0.1? Have you tried reinstalling Pro Tools?
