So, if you run 2.82 on OS8, what will be the telltail signs of "non-compatibility"? What would I gain with 2.83?

Sound Designer 2.82 installation/deauthorization will not work on OS8.0. The workaround is to install and expand/deauthorize Sound Designer on a non OS8.0 system, and then copy it over to the OS8.0 system. Or upgrade to 2.83 for OS8.0 compatibility.


This pretty much goes for all copy protected software that came out before OS8 did for all companies

The only gain is OS8 compatiblity.

If Sound Designer was installed prior to OS8, you will not have any problems until you deauthorize. OS8 will cause the loss of installs if you try to authorize Sound Desinger onto an OS8 system.
