Default getting the max sound

Im using the stereo Aux inserts for my effects being bussed but I would like to ask instructions for subgrouping on the mix page of PT
Can Anyone give me a step by step guide.

I'm not sure what you are trying to do... I think you will have to give us some more information if you want to get a good answer.

An example would be a drums sub mix. Assign the output of each drum track to your drum bus (any available bus) create an aux, set it's input to the drum bus just mentioned, and the output to your main stereo out. That's it.

Thanks guys. I think I have the idea from what you posted. Baically I have 6 string tracks and want to group them all together onto one stereo group comprised of just 2 channels. Thanks again.

So with Pt9 it's even easier. Select all the string tracks that you want to group. Hold option + shift and click one of the outputs of the string tracks. Choose new track from the options in the drop down menu, a box will appear, name the bus "String Bus" or whatever you want, and it will make the aux and bus it for you.
