tascam us428 w/ windows 98se, via kt266a

I am getting one of these controllers, however I've read that there are some caompatibility issues with the via chipset, have these been fixed with the latest drivers. If anyone can help or knows I sure would appreciate your help.

I used to have a U-428 - it's a cool product, and was one of the first multi-function controllers, but it does have some limitations compared to soe of the more modern controllers - mostly the lack of moving / motorized faders.

And yes, the earliest versions of the software drivers DID have problems with VIA chipsets... but at version 3, it seems to be far less of a problem. FWIW, mine worked fine with my VIA equipped Asus A7V-266-E mobo.
