Need Help with 8.0.3 Update

Hi There,

I'm a HD guy but I bought Vocal Studio for a friend of mine. The DVD was Vs 8.0.2 and he's on a Mac running 10.6.2. So I thought it would be easy to update 8.0.2 to 8.0.3...downloaded the updater, but it needs 8.0 or 8.0.1 to work.

I find it very odd the 8.0.3 updater won't work over 8.0.2.

Tech support has not gotten back to me. My friends dad called support and they said 'tuff luck' basically BUT I don't think that is the case.

Any ideas out there.

I can't even register the product to directly contact tech support as there is no reg card / SN etc.

This has made a very bad impression on a kid I was hoping to introduce to 'real' audio software.

Hope one of you has an idea for me.
