Default registering software upgrade

I've previously posted about this, but haven't been able to respolve my problems as I don't think I explained myself adequately. I've had my PT system for over a year and everything was registered when I bought it. I have recently upgraded my software from 7.1 to 7.3 and expected to receive a 7.4 amnesty e-mail and non has arrived. I can only conclude that I have to register my software upgrade as even though the digistore has a record of it, it doesn't appear in my My Digi account page details. So now I've been trying to register my new code (DIGI 0730....) and I can't figure out how to do it. The register product page requires a product number that I do not have. I've tried - out of desparation - using the numbers off the tops of the cards that came with my original set-up and just get told that those products are already registered. How do I register my 7.3 software? I'm trying all sorts of things and finding pages on the digi website I never knew existed, but I can't find the information I need.

PLease help, it's really doing my head in now.

I'm pretty sure that your purchase from the Digistore should already be registered. (I could be wrong about that)

How recently? The amnesty upgrade is only available to those who bought on or after Oct 1 2007

Digidesign has claimed in another forum post that all of the amnesty emails have been sent to all of the eligible recipients. If you did not receive the amnesty email, it could be for a few reasons:
  • You aren't eligible.
  • your email spam filter is dumping emails from Digidesign into your spam mailbox for some reason and you aren't checking there.
  • you aren't checking the same email address that is registered with Digidesign.
The only way to really get it resolved is to contact Digidesign directly.

How recently did you upgrade to 7.3? Was it after October 1, 2007? If so, you should definitely contact Digidesign and demand your free upgrade. If it was before 10/1/07 (yes, even 9/30/07), you are elgible for the $49.00 upgrade and can order it via the Digistore now. Go to your account at the Digistore to view everything you've purchased there including your 7.1-7.3 upgrade. It should display the date of the transaction.

Thank you for your answers, I think you're right I need to contact Digi. I am eligible for the upgrade and haven't had anything filtered out by my spam filters. I'll see what they say.
