Firmware issues
After downloading the firmware my computer does not recognize the 002R it trys to take me through the Found New Hardware Wizard and asks me to put in the protools disc. Is that normal? Will I lose any sessions on my hard drive if I reinstall protools 6.4?

Re: Firmware issues
I don't know about the firmware issue, but it is safe to reinstall PT. You can uninstall PT and it will not affect your session files. As long as you don't do anything crazy like put them in the ...common files\digidesign folder, that is. Keep them in their own folder on a second drive and all is well (you should be doing this anyway for best performance).

Re: Firmware issues
I reinstalled and I did not lose anything but how do I check if the firmware was installed properly?
