Default XMon grief

Hi folks, not sure if my xmon or my xmon cable is crapping out as it is impossible to trouble shoot one without the other. Xmon is showing the "XM OFF" tally on the Icon. Intermittent mutes, no volume or TB functionality...
All around fun times.
Does anyone have one (Xmon and cable) for sale?
Thx,
Brian Power, CAS

no but what it your length needed?
it it 15 pin straight through, so a 15 pin serial cable could be used for testing

The D Command user guide has the pinouts of the cable in one of the last pages. It´s not a big deal to build another one and cheaper than buying an used one I guess.

I hope it´s just a cable issue, but I suspect there is something else.

Had a blue D-Command with XMon for a while. Every once in a while it would freeze in mute, necessitating a power down/restart. Not often enough to be a problem.

Hi,
I tried all the steps to no avail.
I will see if Avid can fix it but my guess is that a used one will be cheaper.
Not fun at all but it does force me to go AES out of the Omni into the Dolby CP 750 and that is sounds pretty fine, maybe I can get by without...
