Default difference between PT 9 (CPTK) and HD Native

Hi all,

Considering my options at the moment and wanted to get some user feedback on the actual difference between PT9 with CPTK and an HD Native system.

Obviously converters play a big part in the equation but I'm interested from a software POV. ie Summing Buss, ADC etc

cheers

Nic

as far as the actual program goes, Pro Tools 9 plus the CPTK2 is no different from that of HD native or HD with TDM.

If your decision is between the 2 then it only comes down to what hardware you want to use.

CPTK2 enables almost all Pro Tools HD software, Center Playhead Scrolling is HD Only and Track and Destructive Punch Modes are HD Only too. Pro Tools HD software a side, HD Native card offers simultaneous 64 Inputs and 64 Outputs. Native card also hosts the I/O for better performance thus giving Pro Tools needed resources. Native card supports H/W Buffer Sizes at supported Session Rates of 64 and 32 Samples on both OSX and WIN.
