That registration, download, authorization, etc. process is way more complicated than it should be.

I need help w/ 2 things:

1. When downloading the sounds from the User Area (after istalling and authorizing the instrument/plugin), part one of the download went ok and installed fine. In part 2, while extracting the files, about 4/5 of the way through the extraction I was told (little pop-up window) that certain of the files needed passwords and prompted me for the password. I searched the multiple e-mails and download instructions but could not find any info regarding a password for certain of the sound files (they were certain of the Clarinet sound files). I tried my normal IK Multimedia password but it didn't work. I had to press "skip file" for these files to continue. Then when it finally got through, I got an error saying there was an error installing the files. DID THIS HAPPEN TO ANYONE ELSE?

2. Just to see what this product sounds like (at least one of the sound downloads went correctly) - I launched Pro Tools and created a blank session. I followed the instructions from the manual - created a stereo audio track, added MPCE as an insert - created a midi track, selected MPCE channel 1 as the midi track's output, record enabled the midi track, selected a sound from the MPCE instrument menu, clicked it, it then appeared in channel 1, played my keyboard and - nothing. no sound. I'll admit that perhaps I am doing something wrong here, but can't figure it out. the input meter/indicater moves when I play the keys, but no sound. Any ideas?

**EDIT** Problem 2 solved! I would have simply deleted No. 2 from my post, but this is kind of funny, so I figured I'd tell what happened. To test I had selected a couple of different istruments violins, violas, and reached over to the keyboard and hit a few nearby notes just to hear the sound. The problem? I have an 88 key heyboard and was playing notes that were out of the range (too low) for the selected instrument!! Still need help for the first one, though. Those sounds aren't available for use.

thanks!

FWIW, first impressions - sounds OK. Sounds fake-ish - not going to fool anybody with these sounds, but definitely worth $15.

Is there a manual for the full version then? Edit : I found it. It's in the Programs x86 ---> IK Multimedia folder (duh...).

Okay, today I'm trying this Miroslav VI for the first time. Some of the samples momentarily crackle and skip, at which point the PTools CPU/RTAS meter spikes. I'm running buffer 64, 8 processors at 85%. Same spike occurs at 128/7/85. Xpand 2 works at these settings, but if I add a Miroslav instrument to the session, Xpand2 also spikes the same way. I do use a separate samples drive, but that shouldn't even matter since apparently Miroslav loads samples into RAM. Thanks for the help !!!

I also tried reducing the Miroslav poly to 16 instead of the default of 32, and it stills skips occasionally. Thoughts?

Are you launching Pro Tools with run as admin?

For me IK plugs work much better when PT is launched with R.A.A.
