If you already created a user account and registered then go to User Area on the website. "Sounds Download" is there.

Yeah, it's amazing alright. The most convoluted process ever.

It's a bit buggy PT 7.4.2 HD w/ 2.0 G5 Mac... OS 10.5.8... sound gets stuck in a loop with the SWOD and quits... or the SWOD goes away and there is no sound so you have to reinstantiate. Sometimes you have to force quit PT completely and relaunch. This comes often after repetitive auditions of sounds, and sometimes dbl clicking on a sound will not load.

IK and NI products have never been happy campers in Pro Tools RTAS anyways.

Nevertheless, $15 well spent. Great realistic string pads!

I have all IK VI's... been very stable for me on PeeCee since LE6. In fact the only sample based VI's that I can get 16+ tracks in PT on a low buffer without issues. They totally get it right with excellent sound quality with low RAM and CPU usage. Hope they keep it that way with ST3!

Have you tried posting any problems on their forum?

What IK really needs to do is update their website. When viewing, 40% of the space on the right is blank. Not many people still use a screen resolution of 800x600.

Our setups are quite different... you on PC w/LE, me on Mac w/HD... could be part of the problem... and I have some housekeeping to do before I call on support.... (trash prefs, repair permissions, etc.)

Been stable for me since LE6... On PT9 now. You said IK and NI products have never been happy campers in Pro Tools RTAS anyways. That hasn't been the case for me on PC or my Macbook, so I offered a different scenario to suggest that regarding IK it could be something like what you mentioned above... and to perhaps post any issue you're having on their forum as they have moderators who could help.

It's funny the thing about IK is if you are one of the early customers and setup an account originally things work pretty smoove and the navigation is pretty simple.
The key to registering is to pay attention to the order they say do things if you are new.
The deposit things and send you links etc as you do certain processes.
They pretty much use the user area to separate customers from non-customers.
You may notice others like NI also do this.

I haven’t used my IK products for years now. I was shocked at all the things I own and don't use. It’s not that anything is wrong with them, I just tend to go with ilok apps when I reformat drives and forget about the rest.
