Default error (-6093) 002 PT8 osx 10.6.2 snow leopard

i am having major problems with my pro tools LE 8.digi 002.
i use a mac pro tower 2x 2.66 GHz dual-core Intel Xeon
8 GB 667 Mhz DDR2 FB-dimm
mac OSX 10.6.2 (snow leopard)
pro tools LE 8.0.1

my pro tools sessions keep crashing with...
"the operating system held off too long. If this occurs frequently, try increasing the "H/W buffer size" in the playback engine panel.

which i have done several times with no results.
i am running only 6 tracks with no plug-ins.
any suggestions?

i'm having a similar problem. I get a lot of the same error as you do, but also this one:

"Lost communication with the audio interface. Please try increasing "H/W Buffer Size" or removing some plug-ins, and make sure you have a valid clock source. Press OK or reset device. (-6097)"

and i get this one even if i'm not even playing anything.. it just appears out of nowhere.

Also on Digi 002.

I've been using Pro Tools for 4 years and never had so many problems with it...
And this didn't happen in the 8.0.3 pre release...

i've been having this problem even before 8.0.3.
but since the upgrade & snow leopard. whole system sucks.
the virtual instruments i run get digital clicks & crash.
i am using a apogee rosetta 800 for A/D D/A & clocking.
i'm starting to suspect that the 002 is a lemon?
i never had these problems running cubase off a motu 828.
i need to solve this problem...
i'm working on a bunch of projects that NEED to be finished but i'm spending all my damn time futzing with this BS.
i'm thinking of going to HD system but it's too much $$$.

also, been hearing that 003 would be an upgrade but i'm afraid i'll be in the same boat.
like trading in a hyundai for a kia or a daewoo.

Try going to Setup > Playback Engine Menu and deselect Ignore Errors During Playback, seems like resolved for me.

Also I have seem few users saying that disabling bluetooth is resolving the problem as well.

Without more info on your specific configurations, it's nearly impossible to direct you to possible solutions.

See the Help Us Help You thread for details about what we need to know.

The biggest culprits - incompatible plug-ins (generate and post a plug-in version list per the instructions in the General Troubleshooting thread), misconfigured systems (see the tweaks in the General Troubleshooting thread) and possibly an issue with the power harness with 002 systems (again, more info in the General Troubleshooting thread).

Power harness with 002 systems?? how that is possible if I have a 003 factory that has been working perfectly before going SL and 8.0.3?

Why when I go to Setup > Playback Engine Menu and deselect Ignore Errors During Playback the -6093 error go away?
