I realize that this is very "off topic", but as a single person, who owns my own business, with a single employee, me, the cost of health insurance is beginning to really become a burden.

No doubt there are others in the same boat, and I'm curious if anyone has found any type of "group" that one can join that could/would help reduce this spiraling cost. At this rate, it won't be long before this is something I simply can't afford.

Yeah, welcome to the world of the American entrepreneur. I joined an organization a few years ago called the National Association for the Self Employed. They offer a group insurance policy that's decent. I have my family on it and it's been ok. It's not great, but it works for us. If you're fairly healthy, it might work for you.
